Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Remi ("we", "us", "our") provides an invoice payment reminder service available at meetremi.app. Our service helps freelancers track invoices, manage client payment statuses, and send automated payment reminders via email.

2. Account Requirements

To use Remi, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Free Trial and Billing

Remi offers a 14-day free trial for new accounts. After the trial period, continued use of the service requires a paid subscription at $15/month. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

  • Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Remi only for its intended purpose: managing invoices and sending payment reminders for legitimate business transactions. You must not:

  • Use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages.
  • Upload fraudulent or misleading invoice data.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorization.
  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service's infrastructure or security.

5. Intellectual Property

The Remi service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of any data you upload to the service, including invoice files and client information. We claim no ownership over your content.

6. Limitation of Liability

Remi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminder emails will always be delivered successfully.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in activity that harms the service or other users. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
